As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of trying out some of the signature dishes at La Sorted’s. The Mortadella sandwich, with its perfect meat-to-bread ratio, pistachio cream, and creamy burrata, left me craving for more. The crust on their pizzas is crunchy and flavorful, making it hard to resist eating a slice on the way home.

The mortadella sandwich is mouth watering. A little too much butter and wish it had another flavor in there to cut it up, but still so delicious. The prosciutto sandwich was fabulous with the lemon ricotta and fig. The sandwich game is top tier here. I will be back again to try another sandwich on the menu...or maybe even a pizza!
Wide selection of very good pizza. Also had the godfather which was great. Meatballs were a little dry but want to try the wings next time. Overall a solid spot.
Food was so good! Staff was also very friendly and helpful when navigating the menu since I have a nut allergy.
I enjoyed my pizza pie. I go the Good boy and it didn't disappoint. The crust is crunchy and has great flavor. Pepperoni was delicious and had plenty. Next time I will ask for extra. It's a small place and there is not indoor seating. They do have a few seats and tables outside. I will need to comeback soon.
Still continuing my quest to find best sandwich in town and this time it's the turn for North East side. From what I was aware, La Sorted wasn't only well known for their sandwich but also pizza and other nibbles. The place was much smaller than I expected with most people just ordered for to-go. There were couple tables in front of the store in case you would want to enjoy the sandwich fresh after it was made. My interest was their Mortadella sandwich, whose name was self-explanatory in terms of the protein it served. Meat to bread ratio was amazing as you could clearly see from the picture. I also loved how they paired it with pistachio cream and burrata, which were exactly my favorite ingredients for Italian sandwich. I might fancy more pistachio cream in my sandwich and though I would say it did taste great, I still had Mamie and All Antico on my top list. Nonetheless, it's awesome now I had more options in town, particularly if I am around the east area!
The food here is good. I get why there's hype now about this place. It's pretty good. I would say that you should definitely try it if you're experimenting with Italian and you're in Los Angeles. Haven't had their pizzas yet (full disclosure). I've only had sandwiches, but they were so brilliant and they were exactly what I was looking for. The service was really kind. It's run by really nice people. There's absolutely nowhere inside to sit. There's a couple seats outside but you'll be in the sun and you'll be in a parking lot. That's on the busiest part of Sunset. So definitely plan to get your food and take it to a local park or something. You can go eat it at the silverlake reservoir nearby. If you're new to LA and don't know where to go.
Great spot! Original style crust, flavorful, the car ride home was maybe more difficult to not eat a slice. The step father sandwich is maybe the best sandwich I've ever had. The margarita style pizza was saucy and delicious. Mamba was just delicious and light but flavorful. All in all you can tell why this is rated one of the best pizzas in LA. I'll be back The nice lady at the front helped me out with my order as well - great service!
We decided to give this spot a try after craving pizza all day. At 9:30pm we put in the order and picked up our two pepperoni slices a few minutes before closing. It was worth it! LA Sorted's is a casual, small spot with a window to pick-up your order. The history of this place is awesome. You should look it up. It shows how hardship makes some of us thrive! I love the fact that they mill wheat berries in house. The crust was thick but nice and airy with some nuttiness to it. Delicious!
